The whole Bhargav family was running here and there because of their elder daughter's marriage with the Raichand's elder son in two days. Some were busy decorating the house, some were busy preparing foods and some of them were enjoying the pre rituals and ceremonies.

"RUHANI!"

Tarini called her younger daughter as she came running.

"What happened, Maa?"

"Where is Riddhi? I can't see her from morning?"

Ruhani's tongue tied as she didn't know how to say it because she couldn't tell the truth.

"Maa, Di has gone to take her new necklace. Previous one has some defects"

She lied as she knew her elder sister had gone to meet with her would be husband and if she would tell this to her mother. Then another Mahabharat would start which she didn't want.

"Hey Bhagwan, maine kitni bar mana ki thi is ladki ko ki shadi se pehle Dulha Dulhan ghar se bahar nehi nikalte, ashubh hota hai lekin nehi! Hamesha apni manmani karti rehti hai!" (Oh lord, how many times I told that girl not to step out from your house before marriage, it's not good but no! She'll never listen to anyone)

Ruhani bit her tongue for lying but she couldn't do anything as she knew how much angry was her mother right now.

"Call that girl, I want her infront of me right now!"

Tarini ordered as she nodded and left.

Ruhani ran towards her room and huffed closing the door from inside. Then taking out her mobile she dialled her sister's number.

As soon as the call was picked up she blurted out everything in one go.

"Di, please come fast. Maa is already shouting. I've told her that you've gone to buy a new necklace as the previous one had some defects. So, please bring a new necklace while coming or else she would doubt!"

Saying these she cut the call and immediately ran downstairs.

"What happened Riddhi?"

Agastya asked seeing his fiancee huffing under breath. They were now in his personal apartment in which he used to stay alone for his works. She was sitting on his lap while his arms were wrapped around her.

"I've to go! Maa has started her usual drama!"

Riddhima stated while detaching herself from him.

"Don't go!"

He again pulled her over him while rubbing his nose on her cheeks as she pushed him with a smile.

"I'm coming here forever after two days! So please keep patience, Mr. Raichand!"

She stated and pushed him hard on his chest.

"2 days! Do you know in two days, there are 48 hours, 2880 minutes and 172800 seconds. How will I be able to stay without seeing you for two long days?"

He sighed as she giggled.

"No choice, Mr. Raichand. You've to wait and I can't come before two days. So bye!"

Saying this she ran from there as he tried to hold her but before he could do that she was out of his sight.

"Ahh, two days!"

He sighed with a pout.

Riddhima entered into the house hurriedly when Tarini stopped her.

"Where did you go?"

"I w_went for this necklace!"

She showed it to her mother as she fluttered her nose.

"This is the last and you won't go outside before your marriage!"

Tarini warned strictly as she nodded her head and went upstairs to her room.

"Ufff! Thank God, Di. You've came!"

Ruhani joined her palms and looked at sky thanking the God.

Riddhima laughed at her antics as both the girls sat on the bed.

"Now tell me, what did Jiju say?"

"Agastya has no problem! He told me that I can continue whatever I like!"

Ruhani smiled hearing her as she knew Agastya always gave priority to her every small wishes which always brought respect for him.

It was the marriage day as Riddhima was getting ready in her red lehenga while Ruhani was helping her. Suddenly his phone buzzed as she gazed at the message.

"Oh No!"

"What happened, Di?"

"I'm selected and they are asking me to come right now for the further discussion of this new project"

"But Di, you can't go right now! Only few minutes left for the marriage and the groom's family will come soon!"

Without thinking anything Riddhima dialled Agastya's number but he wasn't picking it up as he was busy in the pre marriage rituals with his family members.

"Agastya, please pick up the call!"

She murmured under breath but no response.

"Now what, Di?"

"I've to go. Don't worry, I'll come back before the marriage!"

Saying this she started removing her lehenga.

"What are you saying, Di? If Maa would come to know then she won't leave us alive!"

"Maa won't be able to know. I've a plan!"

And with this she started making her wear her lehenga.

"Di, ye apki shadi ka joda hai!" (It's yours marriage dress)

Ruhani's eyes became widened.

"Till the time I'm coming back, you stay here and don't open the door, okay!"

Saying this Riddhima put the veil on her forehead and made her sit on the bed.

"Di_"

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. I'll just come!"

And with that she left from the backdoor.

Ruhani sat there with a nervous and pale face thinking about the upcoming storm.

Raichand's entered into Bhargav house as Tarini did the tilak then took the groom at the Mandap.

Agastya started doing the rituals when Devesh instructed his wife to bring Riddhima as she nodded and went upstairs.

Tarini knocked on the door while calling Riddhima's name as Ruhani got scared. She remained silent without doing any sound. She hurriedly dialled Riddhima's name but she too wasn't taking her calls.

After almost ten minutes of continuous calling Ruhani finally opened the door.

"What were you doing, Riddhi? Everyone was asking about you and you're here? Come fast!"

Tarini held her wrist and started dragging but she didn't move from her place.

"What happened?"

She asked but got no response in return.

"Riddhima!"

Saying this she jerked her when slowly the veil was lifted up and Ruhani's face came up. Her eyes widened as she looked at her shockingly.

"Tu Riddhi ke jode mein kya kar rahi hai? Riddhi kaha hai?" (Why are you in Riddhi's dress? Where is Riddhi)

She shouted at Ruhani who got more scared.

"WHERE IS RIDDHI?"

A tear dropped from her eyes as she looked up.

"Di gave a audition and she was selected. She had gone to discuss the further process"

Tarini sat on the bed with a thud hitting her forehead.

"Maa please don't worry. Di will come soon! I'm calling her!"

Ruhani again dialled the number but none picked.

"I knew it, this girl will do something like this. She will malign our reputation oneday, I knew it!"

"Maa, please don't say like this. Di will come!"

"When? After the marriage? Everyone is here. Do you know what will happen if they get to know that Riddhi isn't here!"

Ruhani lowered her eyelashes knowing that her mother wasn't going to hear anything now when suddenly Tarini looked up at her from top to bottom as she felt nervous but next moment she felt her heart stopped hearing her mother's next word.
