Devadriptya stood at the entrance of the Sekhawat Mansion with his newly wedded bride. Gauri came with the plate and started doing their arti as per her mother-in-law's orders. Then she asked Varshini to enter first.
She stepped forward with fear waiting for everyone's reactions towards her. She knew very well, she was an unwanted person there and it would be very difficult for her to stay here but she had no option right now. Her father already refused to take her back and all other people put questions on her character.
She left her footprints on the white floor and proceeded further. All the while her eyes were searching for the person whom she wanted to see there once but he was nowhere to be seen.
Varshini turned back to see the place was already empty. Devadriptya already went from there towards his father's room and Gauri took the new bride towards their God.
She prayed in front of God and put her fingerprints on the wall of the temple. Her mother-in-law accompanied her all the while.
Ragini was watching the scene from a bit away as a sudden anger clouded in her mind but before she could say anything Jaya Sekhawat stood in front of her.
"Ghar ki badi bahu hai woh aur hone wali Maharani bhi, bhulna mat. Uske man samman mein koi chuk nehi honi chahiye" (She is the eldest daughter-in-law of the Sekhawats and the next queen in line, don't forget. She shouldn't be disrespected here at any cost)
Saying so, the older one was going from there but was stopped in the middle by the voice.
"You always think about your eldest grandson because he is the next King in line, but did you ever think about your younger grandson? How he feels, What he wants? No! Never!" Ragini's anger coated voice came as the old lady gave her threatening eyes.
"I never did anything without thinking about the future. I know what I did and I know what will be the best for them. Now go to your work and don't try to eavesdrop everywhere" She ordered as Ragini left from there in rage but not before glancing at the scene once.

"It was Devadriptya's room and now it's your room too" Gauri told Varshini that her heartbeat stopped for a moment.
What she was saying? Now she had to stay with Devadriptya? The elder brother of the man who she loved. No, no, no! She couldn't do this. It would be a sin.
'Why God? Why are you testing my patience like this? What was my fault?' Her eyes turned teary as she remained cursing her cruel fate to bring herself in a situation from where she couldn't see any way to run.
Her watery eyes and inner turmoil were noticed by her mother-in-law as Gauri came near her.
"Never give up!" She only said the words and put her palm over her daughter-in-law's head in a blessing manner.
"As everything happened so fast, I couldn't get the time to inform our maids to arrange your dresses and accessories in the room. I will tell them to do it as soon as possible" Gauri started arranging the bed and put all the files in the drawers.
Then leaving all his suits in the closet, he decorated the room a little bit with the help of the maids.
"Umm, Y_You stay here. I am going" Saying so, she left the room in nervousness leaving Varshini there.
Varshini tried to stop her but couldn't voice it out loudly. Her whole body was shivering with so many thoughts. Now what she would do? How would she stay with Devadriptya in the same room?
On the other hand, Gauri didn't know what she should tell Devadriptya. Being the eldest daughter-in-law of the Sekhawats and as per her mother-in-law's orders she did all the rituals one by one but now?
She knew about her son very well. He wasn't a man to accept everything easily. If he did something, he had his reasons but what now?
She was lost in her own thoughts when suddenly she heard the sounds of breaking things and shouts.
"Get the hell out of my room you all"
She hurriedly went towards the direction of the sound and came to see Aryamaan throwing all the foods on the floor and breaking all the glasses.
Her eyes widened as she saw him heavily drunk and shouting at the maids. All the while Ragini was trying to calm her son down but he was behaving uncontrollably.
"Arya!" Gauri called him softly but he showed his palm.
"D_Don't come to me. Y_You're not my m_mother anymore. You're only h_his mother. Y_You're none to me. Go from here!" He shouted angrily while stumbling on his steps.
Ragini cried watching her son like that as she turned towards Gauri.
"What do you want now? Why you have came here? To see if my son died or not?"
Gauri gasped hearing the allegations.
Her eyes turned teary as she never thought in her life that they would say her something like this. She always considered Aryamaan as her own child and never ever differentiated between Devadriptya and Aryamaan. Then how came they forgot everything so quickly.
"Ragini_" She stepped forward towards them but Ragini stepped back.
"Dur rahiye hamare bete se aur hamare parivaar se" (Stay away from my son and my family)
Gauri's eyes widened hearing her words.
Wasn't he her son too? Weren't they her family too? Weren't they one family? Many questions arose in her mind which she didn't have any answer right now.
With slow steps she came out of the room and left from there with her heavy heart.
"I_I will never forgive anyone. I will n_never" Aryamaan chanted the same line again and again.
He left his body on the couch getting heavily drunk. Ragini caressed his hair and covered his body with a blanket. Then left from there closing the door behind.

Varshini was sitting on the bed in the same position how her mother-in-law left her there. Her whole body was hurting as she was totally exhausted after sobbing for an hour. Already all the incidents made her life a living hell and now her body pain. She felt her eyes were burning after a lot of crying.
She was now tied to a man who saved her last piece of dignity but what about her love? What about her self respect which she lost when everyone tagged her as cheater and a characterless woman who slept with her lover's big brother only to get the throne and the title of the queen?
More tears came out of her eyes thinking about her horrible fate when the door of the room opened suddenly.
Her trance broke as she clutched the lehenga tightly under her nails hearing the footsteps coming near her.
Entering the room, Devadriptya went straight to his study which was attached to his bedroom without sparing any glance to his newly wedded bride. Then shutting the door with a thud he locked himself there the entire night.
Varshini glanced at the closed door once and again put her head over her knees curling herself like a ball. Her eyes felt heavy as she lost herself in the deep slumber.
