"NO, I WON'T DO IT EVER" Devadriptya yelled as his voice echoed through the whole room.ย
"Just because you people think that I have an affair with this girl doesn't mean I will marry her. I already made a mistake in your insistence but I won't repeat it" He did the biggest blunder by agreeing to the marriage proposal previously with Tanishtha when he clearly said he never loved her.
He would never make the same mistake again in any fucking reason.
"You have to marry my daughter. Don't forget she was with you all night. If you try to run away from her I will expose you in front of the media again" Devadriptya glanced at the man who just gave him a threat right now who was none other than her father, Shankar Shishodia.
His eyes were burning like fire as he noted down all the faces very carefully while Varshini was still in her shocking state.
She felt like she lost her voice the moment Aryamaan left the venue. The things that happened there weren't bothering her. Her mind was full of his thoughts. The word 'Don't touch me' was echoing in her mind.
He didn't believe her words and broke their relationship. He left her forever and would never come back. What would she do now? Her eyes were still lingering on the main gate with a little hope but it had to end.
"You don't have to do something like this, Mr. Shishodia. Dev will marry her, it's my promise"
"If you think, you can make the decision of my life every time just because I love you and respect you, then you are wrong" He said the words, looking straight into his grandmother's eyes.
"I don't care about anyone!" He declared and was going from there when he heard the words from Jaya Sekhawat.
"I didn't know, Devadriptya Sekhawat will lose and leave the battlefield this easily" His feet took a halt as he turned back to catch her words more deeply.
"This is just the start, they won't leave a single chance to destroy you. Moreover, this girl whom you've brought here, will face all the consequences. Everyone will target her, will badmouth her, will tag her with so many names. They will make her life a living hell" Jaya Sekhawat put her concern while stating the fact and then continued.
"And don't forget, this time your opponents will be your closest ones" He heard her words and then glanced at the girl who was standing at a distance lowering her head.
"Today if you leave her here, then tomorrow will be the most painful for her" His grandmother uttered the harsh truth making him tighten his fist in anger.
Devadriptya covered the distance between him and Varshini with long steps and grabbed her wrist tightly.
Varshini felt a tug on her wrist as she looked up to see the owner. Her curious eyes clashed with his determined ones as he started dragging her with him.
The moment he brought her near the Mandap, her eyes widened. She snapped her head towards the man unbelievably who pulled her with him to sit.
"W_What are you doing? D_Don't do this" She shook her head again and again looking at him who gave no heed to her words and remained doing all the rituals one by one.
Gauri felt tears gathering at the corner of her eyes. She knew why her son took this step suddenly. She knew Varshini wasn't lying while telling all those. He was doing this marriage only for the sake of this girl, so that none could question her character ever but after this what would Arya do? How he would handle himself?
"Why are you doing this? Please stop!" Varshini struggled to remove her wrist but he was holding her tightly.
Devadriptya took the mangalsutra and tied it around her neck as she looked up at him with teary eyes.
He was marrying her to save her from all the taunts and the cruel society. He was marrying her out of pity. More tears came out of her eyes when she realised it.
He took a pinch of sindoor in between his thumb and forefinger, then coloured her hairline with the red vermilion. After the completion of the marriage, he left her hand finally.
"Why did you do it, why?" Varshini whispered holding his collar but he didn't make any movement.
"Itna sab kuch to ho raha tha hamare sath. Sab seh bhi jate hum. Lekin ye kabhi nehi seh payenge ki apne hum par taras khake humse ye shadi ki" (So many things were happening with me, and I would bear everything. But the thing, you married me out of pity, I won't be able to bear it ever)
Her tears were uncontrollable as she continued with her words.
"I will never forgive you for this"

The whole floor was covered with shattered pieces of wine glass. A figure was still sitting there without any care of the world.
He took another sip from the glass and gulped it down in one go. Then threw the glass away breaking it into millions of pieces.
'I won't leave you, Devadriptya Sekhawat' He murmured while closing his eyes.

Here, In Rajput Mansion Tanishtha was laying on the bed while her mother, Kaveri was caressing her hair lovingly to make her daughter sleep.
"Don't cry, bachcha. Think like, it was just like an accident and a closed chapter of your life. Forget everything and focus on your life, otherwise it will hurt you more" She told her daughter but Tanishtha's focus was still at a distance.
From the time, she came back, she locked herself in the room. Chetan and Kaveri called her many times but she didn't open it for once.
After a long time, she opened the door when her father said, they would break the door. Opening the door, she cried hugging her parents. Kaveri prepared the dinner and made her eat it lovingly.
