Three days had passed but nothing changed. Omkar's family treated Niharika like she didn't even exist. They ignored her and focused on their own work. They neither talked to her nor gave any importance.

She was going to work and after coming back she used to order something for her to eat because they didn't even allow her to use their kitchen. She was sad and upset because of her parents' and then his parents' behaviour towards her but everything was bearable for her as Omkar was with her. He supported her and stood for her like a shadow in every situation. He didn't let a single scratch to harm her.

Niharika opened her eyes hearing shouts from the ground floor. She removed the sheet and got down from the bed to see what was happening when her eyes fell on Omkar and his father. Both were arguing in some heated moment.

"I already told you, we are going to marry and you know that I don't like jokes. So it would be better if you guys cancel the meeting and tell the girl's family not to come because I don't want them to disrespect our family afterwards" Omkar shrugged his shoulders as his father glared at him.

He knew his son was stubborn and going against Omkar and Niharika's relationship will be causing to lose his son forever. After all Omkar was his son. He knew he wouldn't leave the girl at any cost.

"Fine, If you're so eager to marry that girl then I won't stop you but I want this marriage to happen in our ways" Akhil said which made him a little suspicious.

Somehow he was still not convinced. Why did his father agree Suddenly? It was bothering him. Shrugging off the thoughts he decided to go with the flow.

"The marriage will happen in both ways" He announced as his father looked at him with a weird face.

"Will they accept?" Akhil asked making Omkar confused for sometime but then he sighed.

"They will" The determination in his eyes scared them a little as he left from there without doing any sound.

"I don't know what did that girl do to him. Why he doesn't wanna listen to us? Why? What did he see in her?" Akhil was frustrated and angry when Bhumika tried to calm him.

Niharika glanced at the door from where Omkar left.

At night when both of them came from the office Omkar saw her arranging her dinner in the room. He entered the room and sat on the couch.

"I can't stay here more, Omkar" She started again as he sighed.

"Why?"

"Can't you see how your parents are behaving with me? They aren't liking my presence. Then how can I stay here?" Niharika gave her reasons.

"As I already said you won't go anywhere without me. I've got you after six years and I'm not going to leave you like this" Omkar behaved stubborn as she took deep breath.

"Om, we can't stay together like that. We have already talked about it_"

"I've decided to do our registry first" Before she could say anything he stated.

"What? But what about maa, baba? They won't come, I'm sure. And I can't marry you without their presence. Without their blessings we can't be together, Om" Niharika said almost immediately.

"I'm going to talk with them tomorrow morning and I know, chasmish. He'll surely come. He loves his daughter more than anything else then how can he deny" He assured with a smile.

"Om, you don't know him. If he decides something, it's very hard to make him understand"

"And you don't know your husband, my dear wife" He chuckled as she looked at him hopefully.

"And what if they don't come?" She asked again leaning towards him.

"Then we won't marry. We will wait until they understand our love"

"Thank you so much"

She immediately hugged him placing her head on his chest as he caressed her head smilingly.

In the Roy family, Suresh and Rupali were having their breakfast the next day. His face was blank and he was just taking the food silently while she was checking her husband time to time. She knew after Niharika left Suresh stopped talking as he was in so much anger, hurt and pain. He was missing his dear daughter badly and he was thinking how suddenly someone had become very close to her more than them.

"Your food is getting cold" She said as he gave a look towards her and again concentrated on the food.

They were eating when the doorbell ranged.

"I'm checking" Saying so, Rupali got up and went to open the door.

As soon as she opened the door she got shocked as she didn't expect the person to be there at that moment.

"Who is it?" Suresh asked from behind as he also came to check. Then seeing the person he glared at him.

It was none other than Omkar who smiled at them broadly in return. He bent down to touch their feet but they turned back.

"What brought you here at this morning?" Suresh asked sternly.

"We are going to register our marriage, so Me and Niharika wanted your presence. Without your blessings we won't be able to get married" He said without any hesitation.

"And what made you think that we would like to join there. Did you take out permission when you guys were doing all these knowing the differences between your family and our family" This time it was Niharika's mother.

"I don't think we have done anything wrong as we only loved each other, Ma'am. And the differences you are talking about are just in eyes, if you see by heart we are just human beings made by God"

"So when you know you guys aren't wrong. Then why are you here now?" Suresh interrupted in between with anger.

"We came into this world because of our parents and when we are going to enter into a new phase of our life how can we ignore the persons who brought us in to this beautiful world. Without them we are nothing. I'm grateful to you for bringing her into this world and now see how she has become my world" A smile formed against Omkar's lips as soon as her name was taken.

"If you've came this far just to take our blessings then go I gave you blessings. Now don't come here ever"

"Ashirvad bheekh ya dan mein nehi ashirwad man se di jati hai"(Blessings are given by heart not by begging or doing charity) Omkar said with a straight face and then started going back.

"Asha rakhte hai aap log ayenge" (We believe that you will come) He uttered those words and left.

Suresh and Rupali looked at eachother and then went back towards their room.

Btw, the next chapter will be the marriage and after that the real drama will begin. How will they both survive in the family with regular drama, humiliation and negativity. We will see in the upcoming chapters.
